Sectors and Solutions
Our services are tailored to various sectors involved in organic waste management, offering efficient and sustainable solutions.
We operate in composting plants, eco-parks, farms, and domestic systems. We apply treatments to reduce odors, control pests, and improve biological processes. We adapt the design based on the specific needs of each facility.

Composting plants
Benefits of Elgan® Microbiology for composting plants in general:
Reduces bad odors and flies
Improves compost quality
Improves screening processes
Compost platform:
The incorporation of Elgan® microbiology into a waste pile (sludge, manure, olive pomace, pruning waste, FOR, MOR…), provides the necessary oxygenation to achieve an excellent composting process, thus reducing the number of turnings.
Elgan® (along with Nutri-Start® and Nutri-Active®) is a composting system that allows for reduced energy costs (fewer turnings), optimized usable plant surface area (formation of plateaus optimizing plant spaces and surfaces), reduced bad odors and flies, improved screening processes (fewer blockages, more compost, cleaner rejects), and improved compost quality (sustains and increases the microbiology of the pile itself and enhances the resulting compost).
Sometimes, we forget that composting is a biological, not a mechanical, process.

Waste treatment and transfer plants
Elgan® Microbiology for the reduction of bad odors and flies
Elgan® blocks the putrefactive reactions that cause bad odors. Additionally, its metabolism allows for better recombination of Nitrogen with Carbon, so its loss is much lower.
Successful applications in:
Composting plants (sludge, manure, olive pomace, pruning waste, FOR, MOR…), wastewater treatment plants (food, textile, paper, meat…), farms, slaughterhouses (blood, feathers…) among other industries.
Reduction of fly population: its action blocks chitin synthesis in eggs, preventing them from developing into adults and breaking the biological cycle.

Anaerobic digestion
We provide solutions for:
- The reduction of NH3 and H2S concentration in digesters.
- Problems due to not reaching the nominal biogas production due to high NH3 concentration.
- The improvement of organic load (optimization of yields).
- Treating the digestate in composting processes.

Leachate ponds and septic tanks
To prevent odor problems, it is necessary to add oxygen to both leachate ponds and septic tanks. This process can be done mechanically or by adding Elgan®, which in addition to providing oxygen, will reduce bad odors and the volume of sediment at the bottom.

Composting at home
Composting has never been so simple and pleasant!
Many times, if not always, composting with bad smells, flies and work is assimilated in the wrong way. So we don't dare to compost at home. Well, this has a solution. Just as you add your organic waste to the composter, add Elgan® before covering it again. Stir from time to time and in a few weeks you will get a compost without bad smells or flies, loaded with microorganisms and nutrients.
